Per-payment figures are the all-in total divided by 3 and rounded. The number of payments and the schedule differ by partner — Happy Pay splits over 2 — and your own plan depends on that partner's approval. You see it in full before you confirm. Fares are the lowest seen for a sample date about six weeks out, not a quote; airline pricing moves constantly.

About Vilanculos
Vilanculos is the mainland gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago — a chain of sand islands in a marine national park, with clear water, dugongs and some of the best diving on the East African coast.
The town itself is small and relaxed. Most visitors transfer straight to a lodge or onto a boat or light aircraft to the islands.
Getting in from the airport
Vilanculos Airport (VNX) is a few kilometres from town. Lodges arrange transfers, and onward travel to the archipelago is by boat or light aircraft depending on where you are staying.
Entry requirements for South African passport holders
South African passport holders have historically been able to enter Mozambique for short tourist stays without a pre-arranged visa. Requirements have changed more than once — confirm the current position before you travel.
Entry rules change. Confirm the current requirements with the destination's embassy or consulate before you travel — this page is a guide, not an authority.
