Per-payment figures are the all-in total divided by 3 and rounded. The number of payments and the schedule differ by partner — Happy Pay splits over 2 — and your own plan depends on that partner's approval. You see it in full before you confirm. Fares are the lowest seen for a sample date about six weeks out, not a quote; airline pricing moves constantly.

Before you go
Visa well in advance
The UK visa process takes time. Do not book non-refundable travel before it is granted.

Onward south
Convenient for Brighton and the south coast, which are closer to Gatwick than to Heathrow.
About London Gatwick
Gatwick is London's second airport, south of the city, and often carries lower fares than Heathrow on the same route. For travellers heading to the south coast, Brighton or the South Downs it can also be the more convenient arrival point.
Into central London it is a little further than Heathrow, though the Gatwick Express reaches Victoria in about half an hour.
Getting in from the airport
Gatwick (LGW) is about 45 km south of central London. The Gatwick Express reaches Victoria in roughly 30 minutes; Thameslink and Southern services are slower and cheaper.
Entry requirements for South African passport holders
The United Kingdom requires South African passport holders to obtain a visa before travelling, involving biometrics and supporting documents. Start well in advance and follow official UK government guidance.
Entry rules change. Confirm the current requirements with the destination's embassy or consulate before you travel — this page is a guide, not an authority.
